Handcrafted Blankets from Froid, Montana

An Open Letter to My Friends

To My Favorite Friends,

My blankets are for the comfort of children without the security of a blanket of their own.

I make blankets for foster care programs in Montana and North Dakota. They have children given to them from all walks of life; children with deceased parents, abusive parents and guardians.

May this blanket give children much comfort, pleasure and security in the many months ahead.

I am Tari Common, the great great grand daughter of Chief “Follows the Road”. He was living in Mandan, North Dakota in 1923.

I was born in Montana and adopted when I was two. I am now married, I have four children and live in Froid, Montana with my husband, Neil.

Sincerely yours,

Tari Common
